Four districts of Odisha issued yellow warning for dense fog
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar-based Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued a yellow warning for dense fog for four districts of Odisha.
Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir and Nabarangpur districts of the State till 8.30 AM tomorrow i.e December 28, said IMD.
The weather department also predicted that dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha and shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Keonjhar.
The department also said forecasted light rain over one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Balangir, Nuapada, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur and Sonepur and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha from 8.30 AM of 28.12.2024 to 8.30 AM of 29.12.2024.
Likewise, light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Kandhamal and Kalahandi. Besides, dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of the State between 8.30 AM of 29.12.2024 and 8.30 AM of 30.12.2024.
Thereafter, dry weather is expected to prevail over the districts of Odisha from 8.30 AM of 30.12.2024 to 8.30 AM of 31.12.2024, warned the Meteorological Centre.
