Four killed in blast at chemical factory in UP

Bulandshahr (IANS)| Four people were killed in an explosion at a chemical factory in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district on Friday. The incident took place in a house located on Dhikoli Road in Nagar Kotwali area, where the factory was running.

The house where the explosion took place has collapsed, and more people are feared trapped under the debris. Cylinder pieces have also been recovered from the spot.

The explosion was so strong that its sound was heard for two kilometers.

Senior officials have reached the spot and rescue operations have started. Details awaited.
