Four people died in fire in pharmaceutical factory in Raigarh
Mumbai. Four people were killed and seven others injured in a fire following an explosion at a pharmaceutical company in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on Friday as a search operation was underway to trace seven missing people. An official gave this information on Saturday. A National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) official said the fire broke out at Blue Jet Healthcare Company, located in Mahad MIDC area in neighboring Raigarh, around 11 am on Friday.
“Our search operation is ongoing to trace the other seven missing persons.” The official said that as per preliminary investigation, the fire was caused by a short circuit. Officials said on Friday that a fire broke out in the factory after an explosion. After this, the barrel filled with colors burst due to fire.
