Fox attacks child, admitted to hospital
A fox attacked and injured a 2-year-old child who was playing in a room built in the fields of Nai Zameen village of Swaroopganj police station area on Sunday afternoon. The family took him to Suryavanshi Government Hospital for treatment, where after referral for first aid, he was brought to the Trauma Center of Sirohi Government Hospital. On receiving information about the incident, forest department rangers reached the spot. 2 year old Vikram, son of Dinesh Gameti, resident of Ubhagra Valoria, was playing in a room built on a farm in Nai Zameen village of Swaroopganj police station area. Meanwhile, a fox quickly entered the room and attacked Vikram.
When the child’s parents came running after hearing him screaming, the fox left him and ran towards the forest. The parents somehow managed to manage the children and took them to the government hospital in Swaroopganj. The doctors present there referred him after first aid.
On which ambulance 108 pilot Laxman Meena and mail nurse Rohit Patidar gave first aid and took him to the trauma center of Sirohi Hospital. The doctors and nursing staff present here started priority treatment. On receiving information about the incident, following the instructions of Divisional Forest Officer Shubham Jain, the ranger of the concerned forest area was sent to the incident site and hospital. He said that advance action will be taken as per rules, so that the victim’s family can get compensation.
