Fraud of 15 lakhs from the officer, the vicious pretended to get admission in MBBS
Bilaspur. In Bilaspur, a case of fraud of Rs 15 lakh from a BSNL official by pretending to get admission in the medical college has come to light. The officer had given money to the thugs to get his daughter admitted in MBBS. He has complained to the police for not getting admission for two years and not returning the money. It is being told that there is a gang of thugs, who cheat in many states of the country in the name of getting admission in medical colleges. Police is looking for the gang by registering a case. The case is of Sarkanda police station area.
Nihar Ranjan Malik (53), a resident of BSNL Colony located in Rajkishore Nagar, is an officer in BSNL. He told in his complaint that his daughter Pallavi was preparing for NEET exam. After the result of NEET came in the year 2021, a message came on Pallavi’s mobile for admission in Government Medical College, after which a call was also made from an unknown number. During this, he was told that his daughter would get admission in the Government Medical College on the Central Bridge quota, for which he would have to pay Rs 35 lakh. Nihar Ranjan agreed for this.
After which the thugs tricked the BSNL officer and deposited money in installments by sending bank accounts of many places including Kolkata’s SBI, Raslugarh’s Axis Bank branch. They have transacted most of the money online, on the basis of which the police is looking for the thugs by gathering information about them.
