Fraud of lakhs in the name of employment, two accused arrested
Raipur. In the capital, the Civil Line Police Station has arrested a woman and a man who cheated lakhs in the name of providing jobs. Disclosing the matter, the police said that the victim lodged a report that he is currently preparing for competitive examinations by staying in Bilaspur. In the year 2022, through his friend, the applicant got the phone number of a woman named Anuradha Tandon, on which the applicant contacted Anuradha Tandon’s phone number by phone, then Anuradha Tandon told the applicant that she would get her job in the year 2022 Patwari exam. Will get it installed for which money will be charged. On being asked how much money will be charged by the applicant, it was said that it will cost the applicant 09 lakh rupees, for which the applicant will have to pay 04 lakh in advance and the remaining 05 lakh will have to be given after getting the job. Believing the words of the applicant Anuradha Tandon, he had come to Raipur to give the advance amount for getting a job in the Patwari Recruitment Examination. Where the applicant was called by Anuradha Tandon near Circuit House Civil Line with money, the applicant went to meet Anuradha Tandon, then Anuradha Tandon sent a boy for money and asked to give the money to the boy, then the applicant asked Anuradha Tandon Accordingly, 04 lakh rupees were given to the boy. Even after giving the money, when the applicant did not get the job, then the applicant again contacted Anuradha Tandon, then Anuradha Tandon said that your job is not available in Patwari, I will get your job in Food Inspector, for that you will have to pay 10 lakh rupees. In addition to what you have given me earlier 4 lakh rupees, now you give me 02 lakh more and the remaining 04 lakh to be given after getting the job, on which the applicant has to believe in his words and come back to give the money again.
Asked on which the applicant was called near the notary office by Anuradha Tandon, the applicant reached there and met Anuradha Tandon, there Anuradha Tandon came with Prashant Soni. Where Anuradha Tandon said to the applicant that give 02 lakh rupees to Prashant Soni, he will get you a job as a food inspector and if he is not able to get a job, then he has taken a loan to return your money, he will make an agreement and said, if the job is not available If yes then we will return the money. Where Anuradha Tandon and Prashant Soni made a separate agreement to return the loan amount taken with the applicant and the applicant was taken into confidence, along with the Central Bank of India amounting to 0.4 million from the applicant. A check was given and it was said that if the job is not found then the money will be taken through this cheque. Thus till now a total of Rs 06 lakh was given by the applicant to Anuradha Tadan and Prashant Soni in the name of getting them jobs. After 03 months, Prashant Soni called the applicant from his mobile number 7987672007 and was told that another Rs.50,000/- would be required to be given to Babu people, on which the applicant again gave Rs.50,000 to Prashant Soni and made an agreement on a blank paper without a notary. was done and a total of Rs.6,50,000 was given to them so far. After this, when my job is not in the Patwari and Food Inspector department, then the applicant contacted Anuradha Tandon and Prashant Soni, then Anuradha Tandon is not picking up my phone and Prashant Soni is constantly roaming me assuring me to get a job now. . In this way, Anuradha Tandon and Prashant Soni have cheated the applicant of Rs.6,50,000/- in the name of getting a job. On which crime number 376/23 Section 420, 34 Bhadvi was registered against the accused in Police Station Civil Line. Offense was registered.
Under the direction of senior officers, the joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Thana Civil Line Police, after making detailed inquiries from the applicant regarding the incident, started tracing the accused involved in the case. While conducting continuous raids in every possible hideout of the accused by the team members, arresting the accused Anuradha Tandon and Prashant Soni and interrogating them, accused Prashant Soni and Anuradha Tandon were told to carry out the said incident of cheating. On which both the accused were arrested and Rs 1000/- was seized from their possession related to the incident.
