Fraud of lakhs of rupees by showing other’s land, police arrested the accused three brothers

Bilaspur. Sarkanda police have arrested three brothers accused of cheating lakhs of rupees by showing other’s land. There is an allegation against him of forgery from more than 20 people. Anjana Khare of Sarkanda gave an advance of Rs 3.25 lakh to land brokers Santosh Jaiswal, Sachin and Sandeep Jaiswal after seeing the advertisement in the newspapers. These brokers showed him a piece of land and promised to build a house for Rs 25 lakh.

During the agreement, the woman and her husband Atulkant got apprehensive after seeing other’s name in the land, then they reached the registry office. There it was informed that these people have done similar fraud with many people. On Monday, when Santosh and Sandeep reached the registry office for some work, the victims got information about it. There the victims started beating both of them, then they somehow ran away. The victims lodged a complaint at Sarkanda police station. The police arrested all the three brokers after investigation. Among them, Santosh and Sandeep are real brothers, while the third accused Sachin is also a brother in the relationship. According to the police, about 20 complaints of cheating have been received against the accused. The amount of fraud is around one crore rupees. According to the information, the police already had complaints against them but action was not being taken on them. When the complaint reached the Superintendent of Police, Santosh Kumar, he instructed the Sarkanda police to take strict action.
