Full dress rehearsal took place on 26th January at Police Parade Ground.

During the Corona transition period, the cultural program of school children was banned during the flag hoisting and parade salute organized at the police grounds on the occasion of Republic Day. After three years, on the occasion of Republic Day, school children will be seen performing cultural programs in the police grounds. Department-wise tableau related to the ambitious schemes of the Central and State Government will also be released. Participation of the city residents will also be visible. On Wednesday, in the presence of Collector Avnish Sharan and Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh, the last full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day celebrations was done at the Police Parade Ground.
In the final rehearsal of the Republic Day celebrations, arrival of the chief guest, welcome, flag hoisting, parade salute, march past, introduction of the parade commands by the chief guest, distribution of awards etc. were rehearsed. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will hoist the flag in the main ceremony organized at the Police Parade Ground of the District Headquarters. This year, cultural programs will be presented by school children and tableaux related to government schemes will also be displayed by the departments. The Collector and Superintendent of Police observed the final rehearsal and took stock of the arrangements. The Collector gave necessary instructions to the officials regarding the preparations for the program. During the rehearsal, the Republic Day Celebration Parade was led by Parade Commander Trainee IPS Ajay Kumar. On this occasion, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Ajay Aggarwal and district level officers of various departments and officers and employees of the police department were present.
