Gang rivalry in Odisha’s Cuttack district, at least four injured
Banki: At least four people have been injured in a gang rivalry in Bhagipur village in Banki of Cuttack district on Saturday. Stones were pelted from both the sides. However, the reason behind the gang rivalry in Banki is yet to be ascertained.
According to information, the youths of Adivasi street of Bhagipur were seen pelting stones on the vehicles going on the Cuttack-Banki road on Friday night. After the Bhagipur villagers asked about the reason for pelting stones, the youths started throwing stones on them also.
As they were throwing stones and bottles on the vehicles going on the main road, communication has been disrupted. On the other hand, the villagers were took to throwing stones of the youths resulting in a chaotic situation.
Police reached the spot and started an investigation.
