Gangrape of a girl who went out to work in the film world, 2 accused arrested

Bilaspur: Masturi police has arrested two youths who were absconding in the case of gangrape of a girl on the pretext of getting her work in a Chhattisgarhi film. Both the accused have been produced in the court by the police. DSP Siddharth Baghel said that two years ago the girl complained of gangrape. The girl told that on April 1, 2022, Ramayan Sahu, who lives in Ved Parasada, took her and her friend to his house on the pretext of getting her work in a Chhattisgarhi film.

There the girl and her friend were sleeping in a room. At night, the accused Ramayan and his partner Ramayan Bhoi entered the room on the pretext of giving water. Ramayan Bhoi forcibly took her friend out of the room. Here the accused Ramayan Sahu forcibly had physical relations with the girl. After the incident, the girl was going to the police station with her complaint. During this, the accused’s companions Melu and Bablu stopped her and kept misleading her by assuring to get her married. Meanwhile, the girl became three months pregnant.

Later, the girl complained about the matter in Masturi police station. On the complaint, the police registered a case of gang rape and arrested the accused. Meanwhile, Bablu alias Shivkumar Bande (36), resident of Bhilai Dhanuharpara, Melu alias Melaram Sarathi (53), resident of Masturi absconded. The police arrested the accused on Sunday and presented them in the court.
