Ganja recovered from trunk of Activa in Raipur
Raipur. Ganja has been recovered from the trunk of Activa in Raipur. Police had received information from the informer that a person was coming from village Sankara under Dharsiwa police station area with ganja in his two-wheeler for sale. On which Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Patle and City Superintendent of Police Urla Avinath Mishra verified the information and directed police station incharge Dharsiwa to catch the accused red handed with ganja. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Dharsiwa, the team of police station Dharsiwa, while locating the person and the vehicle of the description described by the informer, identified the vehicle and the person and arrested Siltara G.K. Caught in front of the township.
During interrogation, the person revealed his name to be Sankara Dharsiwa, resident of Pappu Bharti. When the team members searched his two-wheeler, it was found that ganja was kept in the trunk of the vehicle. On which the accused Pappu Bharti was arrested and a total of 02 kg 60 grams of ganja worth approximately Rs. 20,000/- and the Activa vehicle number CG 04 PG 0493 used in the transportation of ganja were seized from his possession and a crime number 609/ was registered against the accused in police station Dharsiwa. 2023 An offense under Section 20B Narcotic Act was registered and action was taken.
