Ganja smuggling caught in Raipur, two arrested

Raipur. Kharora police has arrested those smuggling ganja. Police had received information from the informer that Manas Tiwari, father Manoj Tiwari, resident of village Saragaon, was keeping ganja illegally in a purple-pink colored plastic bag for sale in the main road near village Pikridih culvert and waiting for the customer. After conveying the information to the senior officers, a team was immediately prepared as per the orders and the accused Manas Tiwari was caught keeping the intoxicant ganja inside a purple-pink colored plastic bag for selling it illegally.

On which 1.105 kg of ganja worth approximately Rs 10,000 was seized from the possession of the accused and he was arrested. Accused Manas Tiwari was interrogated and got information about the gang involved in smuggling ganja, who told that he had taken ganja from Manoj Aggarwal, resident of village Gabaud police station, Sankara district, Mahasamund and told him to sell it in the area, on which a team was prepared and arrested from Mahasamund along with the accused Manas Tiwari. Went, where as per his information, ganja smuggler accused Manoj Aggarwal was also caught, from whose possession 3.079 kg ganja worth approximately Rs 30,000 kept inside his house was seized and arrested. Both the accused were sent to the Honorable Court to get judicial remand for 14 days.
