Ganja smuggling on bike, two smugglers arrested
Mahasamund. Police has taken major action against drugs. Police have seized 40 kg of ganja while transporting it on bike. Also two accused have been arrested. The value of the seized ganja is said to be Rs 20 lakh. This action has been taken by Basna Police. According to the information, two white plastic sacks were kept in the middle of the motorcycle FZ number MP 17 MY 2266 near Paraskool Chowk Bansula. The bike riders, seeing the police vehicle, got down from the motorcycle and started running away.
After which the police laid siege and caught both the persons and when asked the reason for running away, they told that there was ganja in two white plastic sacks kept in the middle of the bike. Police seized 40 kg of intoxicant ganja and the bike from two plastic sacks kept in the bike. The value of the seized ganja is Rs 20,00,000. Action has been taken against both the accused under NDPS Act.
