Ganja worth Rs 7 lakh 68 thousand seized from car in Raipur

Pithora. Police has taken major action against drugs. Police have seized 96 kg of ganja from smugglers. The value of the seized ganja is said to be Rs 7 lakh 68 thousand. Police have registered a case against the accused and are taking further action.

Let us tell you that on the information of an informer near Pithora National Highway Toll Plaza, the patrolling party got information that ganja is coming from Orissa. After which, during checking, the police caught him with ganja. During interrogation, the accused told that he was given Rs 5,000 to drop the ganja from Odisha to Raipur. Action was taken against the accused under NDPS.

According to the information, hemp purchased from Odisha is sold in other states at 10 times higher prices. Due to which the game of transporting ganja from Odisha is going on in full swing.
