Gas cylinder burst in the house
Shekhpura: A strange incident of fire happened in Sheikhpura, Bihar. Where the house caught fire due to short circuit. After the fire, a 5 liter gas cylinder kept in the house exploded. Three people suffered serious burns. After the incident, the injured were immediately taken to Sheikhpura Sadar Hospital for treatment. After first aid, all the injured were referred to Pawapuri Medical College, Nalanda for better treatment. The incident took place in the house of Akhilesh Mistry, resident of Gohda Mahuli OP village of Ariyari block. After the fire, all three got burnt while trying to take out valuables from the house.
Krishna Nandan Mistry, Mahesh Tanti and Govind Kumar were seriously injured. With the help of villagers, the injured were admitted to Sheikhpura Hospital for treatment. Property worth about Rs 20 lakh was burnt to ashes in the fire. Commenting on the incident, family member Dharmendra Kumar said that the house caught fire due to short circuit. Then there was a massive explosion in the leaking five liter bottle. After the incident the fire started spreading rapidly. The flames engulfed the entire house and everyone was taken to the hospital. Civil Surgeon Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh himself reached Sadar Hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured.
