Get full benefits of government’s schemes in tribal sub-plan area – TAD Commissioner Meena TAD Commissioner took first departmental meeting

With the taking charge of the newly appointed Commissioner of Tribal Regional Development Department, Tarachand Meena, the movement in the departmental corridors has intensified. Taking the first departmental meeting on Tuesday, Commissioner Meena reviewed the progress of various schemes and gave necessary guidelines.
Addressing the meeting, Commissioner Meena said that the state government is fully sensitive about tribal society and tribal sub-plan area. Various schemes are being implemented for the upliftment of tribals. It is the responsibility of the departmental officers and personnel to implement these schemes in the best possible way so that as per the intention of the government, every needy eligible person can get their full benefit and their standard of living improves. He reviewed the progress of all the schemes run by the department. Instructing to pay special attention to educational schemes, he directed regular monitoring of students’ studies in residential schools and hostels.
Cultivate sports talents as well:
Tribal Commissioner Meena said that there is no dearth of sports talents in the tribal area. The government is also making every possible effort to carve them out. There should be effective monitoring of schemes related to sports so that talents get proper opportunities and sports talents of tribal areas can leave their mark at national and international level. He also instructed to ensure participation of sportspersons residing in residential schools and tribal hostels, sports hostels in Rajiv Gandhi Rural and Urban Olympics. At the same time, instructed to encourage young talents to participate in the Rajasthan Youth Festival.
He also inquired about the development works being conducted through the department. Along with this, instructions were given to complete all the works on time with full quality. In the meeting, departmental officers and personnel including Additional Commissioner Anil Sharma gave information about their respective charges and apprised about departmental progress.
