Ghumarwin police caught 168 bottles of liquor
Ghumarwin. On the basis of secret information, Ghumarwin police raided the tin room of a house and recovered 168 (14 boxes) glass liquor bottles of country liquor kept buried in a pit in the ground. Police have registered the case and started further action. According to the information, Ghumarwin police was on patrol last Wednesday night. During this time, the police got information that Balwant Singh, a resident of Sohal, is doing the business of selling liquor illegally in a room in a teeny posh house under the guise of a flour mill. Based on the information, the police prepared a raiding team and left for the posh room of the flour mill machine. When the police checked the tin room of the flour mill machine, they found liquor bottles in a pit made in the ground. DSP Chandrapal Singh said that a case has been registered.
