Giant Peepal tree fell, house and temple damaged

Sitapur. A huge dilapidated and hollow years old Peepal tree collapsed in village Guturma Chandni Chowk of Surguja district of Chhattisgarh. Due to which the Shiva temple present there got destroyed. Apart from this, the adjacent house has also been badly damaged. Fortunately, people were aware of the tree falling, due to which the people living near the tree were evacuated from there. There were no casualties due to this. If this incident had happened late at night, some people could have lost their lives.
