Girlfriend’s father pushed the boy from the train, alleges the family of the deceased
Kawardha: Family members and hundreds of villagers are protesting by keeping the dead body of the youth in Damapur outpost of the district. The family members are demanding a case of murder against the boy’s father-in-law and financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the victim’s family. Along with family members, SDOP is trying to convince the villagers.
The matter is of Tataksa village of Kabirdham district. According to the villagers, Kuwar Singh, living in the village, had a love affair with a girl from the same village. The girl had gone to Lucknow with Kunwar Singh on August 11, where both of them got married. When the girl went missing, her father lodged a missing report at Damapur outpost on August 14, after which the police took the matter seriously and immediately investigated. After tracing the mobile, it was found that both of them were together in Lucknow, the girl’s father left for Lucknow along with the police team to bring them.
After meeting the girl and her boyfriend, the girl’s father and the police counseled her and took her back to the village. The young man went missing while returning by train. On the other hand, an unidentified body was found in Markandi police station area of Chitrakote district, which was identified as Kunwar Singh. The youth’s family members allege that the girl’s father murdered Kunwar Singh by pushing him from the train, which should be investigated by the police. Along with this, the girl’s father is demanding a compensation of Rs 50 lakh and a case of murder to be registered against him.
