Goa: Five arrested for stealing ‘Sunburn 2023’ passes worth Rs 82 lakh
North Goa: Goa Police on Friday said five people have been arrested for stealing passes for the annual electronic dance music festival, Sun Burn Music Festival. According to the police, the value of the money was Rs 82.50.000.

In this regard, an FIR was registered under section 381 of the IPC and an immediate investigation was initiated, police said.
During investigation, teams were formed which identified and detained the accused, namely, Shivam Chari, Mahesh Gawas, Manjeet Gawas, Yashin Mulla and Sidhanagouda Hanchinal, all residents of Ponda, South Goa district. . All the accused were employees of the complainant and they recovered the stolen amount of Rs. Police said Rs 60,000,000 were withdrawn from the accused’s platform.
