Gold worth lakhs seized at airport, customs department took action

Indore. The Customs Department has taken major action at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. The Customs Department has caught a passenger with gold worth lakhs of rupees. At present, the police is busy interrogating the caught smuggler. Actually, the Customs Department had received information from the Air Intelligence Unit that a passenger resident of Delhi was going to bring gold worth lakhs from Dubai to Indore Airport.

On which the Customs Department took action and carefully examined the passengers coming from Dubai. When the security personnel checked the smuggler’s luggage, they were also shocked. Gold was recovered from his pen, bracelet, mouthpiece and deodorant can. Whose price is estimated to be around Rs 19 lakh. At present, the police have taken the smuggler into custody and he is being interrogated.
