google made doodle on india’s independence day
New Delhi: Today, on August 15, 2023, on the occasion of the celebration of the country’s 77th Independence Day, the search engine Google has created a special doodle. Google is celebrating Independence Day by reflecting the unity in the legality of the country. After the slavery of the British, in the year 1947, on this day i.e. 15th August, our country got independence. Google has depicted Indian craft traditions in its doodle on Independence Day. This Google Doodle has been designed by Delhi-based artist Namrata Kumar.
The history of textiles in India is very old. This special Google Doodle describes the different fabrics and designs of Indian textiles. With this doodle, Google shows unity in ritual by honoring the many different textile art forms that come from different parts of India. Crafts from different states are included in the doodle.
In this doodle of Google, the special embroidery of Kutch of Gujarat has been shown. Also in the picture are Pattu Weaving of Himachal Pradesh, Kantha and Jamdani Weaving of West Bengal, Kunbi Weaving Textile of Goa, Fine Ikat of Odisha, Pashmina Kani Textile of Jammu and Kashmir, Banarasi Design of Uttar Pradesh, Paithini Design of Maharashtra. Famous designs and clothes of different states are included.
On this day i.e. 15th August in the year 1947, a new era of India started. The sunrise of this day was very special for all the countrymen of India. Don’t know how many freedom fighters fought for the freedom of the country, did agitations and kept fighting for the freedom of the country till their last breath. Today, because of him, we are celebrating our Independence Day.
