Government employee arrested, spent crores of rupees of the state government in speculation

Kondagaon: The police has arrested a Fisheries Department employee who fraudulently embezzled government funds. Police disclosed that an amount worth crores of rupees has been embezzled by the accused from the government accounts of Assistant Director Kondagaon and Narayanpur.

The accused employee spent the embezzled crores of rupees in online betting. This revelation has given sleepless nights to the officers. By evening, major action can be taken by the department against the accused employee.
