Government employees demand payment of DA and arrears before Diwali

Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, the Staff Officer Federation has written a letter demanding DA and arrears to be given to the employees. For this the Federation has written a letter to the Chief Secretary. The letter mentioned the Diwali festival and said that before the upcoming festival, 4 percent dearness allowance and the last installment of arrears of the seventh pay scale should be paid to the pensioners along with the employees and officers.

Kamal Verma, convenor of Chhattisgarh Employees-Officers Federation, has written in his letter that since Diwali is a national festival, like other months, employees have to face additional financial expenses to celebrate the said festival with enthusiasm. Since this festival falls in the middle week of November, employees and professionals will need additional amount of salary before Diwali, so that they can celebrate this national festival with joy. Chhattisgarh Staff Officer Federation requests that before the festival of Diwali, necessary action should be taken to pay the remaining 4 percent dearness allowance and the last installment of arrears of seventh pay scale to the staff officers and pensioners of the state like the central employees by taking permission from the Election Commission as soon as possible. do. So that this national festival can be celebrated with enthusiasm.
