Government will celebrate completion of one year in Dharamshala
Shimla. MLAs and party leaders have been given a target to gather crowd for the celebrations being held on December 11 on the completion of one year tenure of the Congress government in the state so that this rally can be made successful and historic. Apart from this, now the one year function will be held in the police grounds of Dharamshala. Earlier the government had decided to organize this program in Chambi of Shahpur assembly constituency.
On Sunday, a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party was held at the State Guest House Peterhof in Shimla, in which the one year celebration program was discussed. This rally has been named One Year of System Change, in which workers from the entire state will participate. A target has been set to gather a crowd of 25 to 30 thousand in the rally. Accordingly, MLAs have been given targets to gather crowd.
Under this, Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma has been given a target of bringing 9 to 10 thousand people because this function is being organized in his home assembly constituency.
Similarly, Nagrota Bagwan MLA Raghubir Bali and Shahpur MLA Kewal Singh Pathania have been given a target of bringing 2500 and 2500 people respectively. Apart from this, the MLAs of Kangra district and adjoining areas have been given a target of bringing 1000 people each and the MLAs from distant places have been given a target of bringing 250 to 500 people. Congress will show its strength by gathering as many crowds as possible and raise the slogan of Mission-2024 so that the morale of the workers can be boosted.
The issue of cabinet expansion and coronation in corporations and boards also came up in the meeting. The MLAs demanded a decision on this in view of the Lok Sabha elections so that the morale of the party workers remains intact. On this, the CM assured cabinet expansion and coronation in corporations and boards soon. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri did not come to the Congress Legislature Party meeting.
