Governor paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar on his death anniversary
Raipur. Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on the occasion of his death anniversary. He paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar by garlanding his photograph at his residence. The Governor said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar played an important role in the empowerment of the deprived and weaker sections of the society.
Emphasizing social harmony, he always raised his voice for the exploited and the oppressed and always fought for the safety of Dalits. He had a major role in the making of the Constitution of India. He is the proud son of our country. His contribution is memorable.
On this occasion, Governor’s Secretary Amrit Kumar Khalkho, Deputy Secretary Deepak Aggarwal and officers and employees of Raj Bhavan also paid tribute to Baba Saheb Ambedkar by offering flowers on his portrait.
