Governor Ravi flags off special train for Kashi Tamil Sangamam
CHENNAI: The first contingent of 216 delegates from Chennai left for Kasi Tamil Sangamam Phase II in a special train on Friday. The first visit of the delegates was started by Governor RN Ravi from Chennai Central Railway Station. This program is going to be organized in Varanasi from 17 to 30 December.
The delegates were given a grand welcome at the railway station and were welcomed by the help desk staff. They boarded the Kasi Tamil Sangamam special train which left for Varanasi at 10.45 am. The 216 delegates boarded three carriages meant for the Kasi Tamil Sangamam delegates, while the other carriages were open for the general public. The second service will start from Kanyakumari on December 16.
