Grocer shot from licensed pistol, police engaged in investigation
Ludhiana. An incident of shooting of a wholesale grocery merchant has come to light in Jagraon. During this time, the bullet hit the businessman in his leg due to which he had to be admitted to the hospital. The injured businessman has been identified as Manoj Kumar, whose wholesale grocery shop in the name of Sant Ram Vijay Kumar is located in Nehru Market of Jagraon. According to the information received, Manoj Kumar was going from home to the shop, during which the licensed pistol fell from his hand and it fired. Which has got stuck in his leg. He told that he had received death threats from Arsh Dalla and a demand for ransom was made. Due to which he has provided licensed pistol and gunman to the police. He further told that when the pistol fell from his hand, the sound of a bullet was heard but he could not find where the bullet was fired from. After this, when blood started coming out from his leg, he came to know that the bullet had hit his leg. After this people immediately took him to the hospital. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and are investigating at their level.
