Guerrilla action on illegal storage and transportation of paddy, paddy and tractor seized

Sarangarh Bilaigarh. On the instructions of Collector Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui, work is being done by forming a committee on paddy procurement, storage and transportation through the Food Department, Markfed and Mandi Board.

Food Officer Chitrakant Dhruv, Food Inspector and Mandi Committee team have seized 86 quintals of paddy under the Mandi Act 1972 on illegal storage of paddy in Prashant Traders of Narayan Prasad Sahu in Bansurkuli of Bilaigarh development block. Similarly, about 33 quintals of paddy received from the driver Diwakar Sahu in the tractor of Ramkrishna Sahu, a resident of Pawni in Bilaigarh area, without token, receipt and documents, has been confiscated along with the tractor. It is noteworthy that in the meeting held recently, Collector Dr. Siddiqui had given instructions to take raid action on paddy procurement, storage and transportation.
