Guidelines issued for Lakshmi Puja in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: According to reliable reports, the Commissionerate Police has issued guidelines for Lakshmi Puja in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
According to the instructions issued by Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh, the police will aim to conduct a peaceful and traffic congestion-free Lakshmi Puja in Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar DCP has urged all puja committees organizing Lakshmi Puja in the city to apply for permission before the puja.
He further said that 27 platoons of police force will be deployed at various sensitive places in the city. There will be proper crowd control and traffic management, the DCP said.
Police will ensure that loudspeaker timings are not violated in any puja pandal. Separate traffic management will be done to avoid congestion on the roads during immersion.
Habitual offenders, crimes, criminal activities and other suspicious activities will be monitored in and around puja pandals. Violators will be punished.
