Investigation of public relations team

The company duped crores by luring ‘extra’

The owner and manager of Haldiram Company could not be contacted on calling, efforts are on to contact continuously…

Nagpur / Raipur. Order to register an FIR under Section 420 against Haldiram Food International Pvt Ltd Company and its operators, who looted crores of rupees by luring the common people to give 25% and 75% extra food items through their innumerable outlets in the country and the world. Court, JMFC Court No. 9 of Nagpur has given. This order came after almost 11 years.

this is the case

Actually Haldiram Food International Private Limited Company is known worldwide for its food products. Common people trusted the company for the quality of its products. Taking advantage of this belief, the operators of the company looted the innocent people fiercely by giving the greed of giving ‘extra’ food items on the packets of their food items. About 11-12 years ago, the company had launched about 20 products in Rs.5 and Rs.10 pouches in the market. The company had put 30 grams of food items in a Rs.5 pouch. Apart from this, the company also brought out pouches of Rs 10 and lured to give ’25 to 75% food items’ in this pouch. While the company earned crores of rupees by putting ‘weight’ in the Rs.10 pouch.

Understand the loot of ‘weight’ like this

The Rs 5 sachet launched by the company in the market was packed with 30 grams of food items. When 30 grams of material is being given for Rs.5, it is natural that the pouch of Rs.10 should have double the quantity of 30 grams i.e. 60 grams of food material. And if the company was claiming to give 75% ‘extra’ on it, then the total weight of the packed material should have been 106 grams. But the company did not do this. The company reduced the weight of the packaged material to 34-35 grams in Rs.10 pouches and made the total weight of the packaged material 60 grams by luring 75% ‘extra’ on it as part of a plan to loot the general public . In other words, the company gave 60 grams of food item in a Rs.10 pouch, whereas it was to be given 106 grams. Since 75% ‘Extra’ was written on the pack, people greedily bought Rs.10 sachets in greed of ‘Extra’ and unknowingly went on looting.

murderous attack on the petitioner

On coming to the notice of the case of loot by the company, Nagpur resident social worker Nilesh Marotrao Nagolkar first bought pouches of all the products of Rs. In the investigation, the Weights and Measures Department found that as per the claim of the company, the material in the Rs 10 pouch was very less. Keeping all these things in mind, Nilesh sent a legal notice to the company through his lawyer. Also he filed a criminal case RCC 2544/2011 in JMFC Court, Nagpur. The court ordered the Pratapnagar police to investigate and submit the report. The police found in their investigation that ‘Haldiram’ had indeed earned crores of rupees by rigging the ‘weight’. The police submitted its report to the court. While the hearing was going on, while pressurizing Nilesh to withdraw the case, ‘Haldiram’ and his handlers made two deadly attacks on the petitioner. Nilesh also lodged the FIR for both these attacks. Despite handing over all the documents, the court canceled the case on 22 August 2022. Petitioner Nilesh filed Criminal Revision Appeal No. 0000283/2022 in the Upper Court on 5/11/2022. After hearing all the parties and on the basis of evidence, the court after 11 years, Haldiram Food International Pvt. Ltd. Ordered to register FIR under section 420 against the company and its directors.

Note - This news has been published on the basis of the information given by the petitioner. The public relations team is constantly engaged in contacting the owner and manager of Haldiram Company. After which the side of Haldiram Company will also be kept.
