The whole country was eagerly waiting for this day. Whatever one may say, but the ruling Congress government in Himachal has also risen above politics and declared 22nd as a holiday keeping its faith in Lord Ram.
If we talk about Hamirpur, the entire district seems to be colored in the colors of Ram. In all the five sub-divisions of the district including Hamirpur, everyone has resolved to celebrate the historic occasion of Ramlala’s life as a festival. Preparations have been made to celebrate this day like Diwali in the entire district.
Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur ji has sent 3 lakh boxes in the name of ‘Hamara Ram’, which contain Aarti collection, lamps and flags, to all the family members of Hamirpur parliamentary constituency to celebrate the festival. A plan has been made to celebrate a grand and divine festival of lights like Tretayug to welcome Lord Shri Ram Ji.
Flags with the name of Shri Ram have been decorated at various places in Hamirpur city. On Monday, January 22, preparations have been made by Ram devotees to distribute desi ghee halwa at some places and to build a Dham at some places.
Posters of Ramnaam are seen in temples, markets and temples. For the last few days, hymns of Lord Shri Ram are being heard in people’s homes, shops and even at intersections. Not only this, the wave of Ramnaam has become such that nowadays whether you call someone or meet someone on the way, instead of saying words like Namaste, Good Morning or Gooda Ternoon, most of the people are seen addressing people like Jai Shri Ram or Ram-Ram Ji. On the other hand, Kangu – Before the consecration of the grand temple of Ramlala, celebrations were held in Badhera area on Sunday. A grand rally was also organized here.
Shri Ram flags were flying on the vehicles. The entire area echoed with the slogan of Jai Shri Ram. Badhera Youth Club many youth members including Rajesh Sharma Pradhan, Prateek Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Sunit Pathania, Lovely Pathania, Daljeet Pathania and Satish Pathania participated in the rally. A Bhandara of Halwa will be organized on 22nd January.
