Hashish worth crores caught before sending it out of the country

Maharajganj. Police have arrested three smugglers with hashish worth Rs 50 crore. The accused were planning to send the consignment of hashish to Nepal in a luxury car. 88.50 kg hashish has been recovered from the luxury car. On Wednesday, on the information of Kolhui police informer, the police laid siege and arrested three accused with hashish in the car.

Kolhui police station in-charge Inspector Dinesh said that information was received from the informer that some people were planning to send a huge consignment of hashish to Nepal in a luxury car.
After receiving this information, the police team along with them cordoned off the Kolhui intersection and searched for the vehicles. Meanwhile, a luxury car was seen, which was considered suspicious and the police team tried to stop the speeding car.

Seeing the police team, the car riders started running away, who were caught after running some distance. After a thorough search of the car, 88.50 kg of hashish was recovered from the car. Three accused in the car have also been arrested from the spot.
