According to the information received, a serious road accident has occurred on the Bettiah-Motihari main road of West Champaran. Two people have died in this road accident.
While the condition of one remains critical, he has been referred from Bettiah GMCH to Patna after first aid. This entire incident happened after a head-on collision between the Scorpio and the bike. At the same time, the injured in this incident has been identified as Sameem Miyan, son of Majhauliya police station area Ramnagar Bankat Izhar Mian. The deceased has been identified as Imteyaz, son of Nashurudin Mia, resident of Ramnagar Bankat and Haider Ansari, son of Shailar Ansari, resident of Jaukatia. It is said that Imteyaz had come with his friend to cousin Sameem’s place at night and was going to his home in Ramnagar Bankat in the morning.
The police took the dead bodies in their custody and sent them to Bettiah GMCH for post-mortem and after conducting the post-mortem, the bodies were handed over to the relatives. The Scorpio vehicle in which the accident took place has been confiscated by the police. The Scorpio driver is being identified. Regarding this matter, Mofussil police station incharge Rakesh Kumar Bhaskar said that the Scorpio vehicle has been seized and brought to the police station. The Scorpio driver will be arrested soon.
