Health workers gathered in front of the district hospital, know why they protested

Kanker: Health workers are protesting in front of the district hospital in Kanker, raising slogans. Employees told that Kanker Medical College and District Hospital Kanker is the only hospital in the entire state. Where there are two joint directors, two co-hospital superintendents and two matron offices each, due to which the employees are not able to solve various problems. Due to which there is anger among the employees.

The employees also said that at present Dr. Vimal Bhagat has been made the Joint Director of Administration cum Hospital Superintendent, but he has not been given full powers. If the Dean’s permission is required to take decisions regarding the problems of the employees, then a full-time Joint Director cum Hospital Superintendent is required.

Similarly, there is already a full-time matron posted in the hospital, yet two nursing sisters have been made in-charge matrons, which all the employees are opposing and have demanded to appoint one full-time joint director cum hospital superintendent and matron each.
