Heart touching ‘Bawal’, fans and critics appreciated the film
Mumbai (IANS). Baawal, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is receiving a lot of love for its powerful story line and outstanding performances. Directed by award-winning director Nitesh Tiwari, the film lives up to the expectations with its gripping storyline and stellar performances by Varun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Baawaal is heartwarming. Dangal, Chhichhore and now Baawaal… There is no doubt that Nitesh Tiwari is a brilliant storyteller. Baawaal has a unique plot, screenplay, many emotional moments and stellar performances.”
Senior critic Komal Nahta praised the film, calling the ‘Bawal’ director a ‘genius’. He wrote: “After ‘Dangal’, the extraordinary talent of Nitesh Tiwari needs no proof. ‘Bawal’ is a brilliantly written and produced film, available on Amazon Prime. Congratulations to him, his team, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa. Well done Sajid (Nadiadwala), it takes guts to release such a big film directly on OTT.”
Film and lifestyle website Pinkvilla declared that ‘Baawaal’ is a good lesson for past, present and future.”
Rohit Jaiswal gave the film a 4 star rating and described it as Simple, Beautiful and Elegant with comedy, romance, emotions and most importantly a great message as a backup. He wrote, “Best film of Varun Dhawan’s career, Varun Dhawan will definitely be in the Best Actor race this year.” Jhanvi Kapoor’s acting is pure, natural and cute. Nitesh Tiwari you have made a great film.
Popular journalist Himesh Mankad termed the film as the best film of the year.
