Hemant Soren distributed departments among ministers, Finance to Radhakrishna and Health Ministry to Irfan
Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has divided the departments among all the ministers of the cabinet. Its notification was issued at around 2 pm on Friday. CM Soren has kept Personnel, Administration Reforms and Official Language, Home (including Prisons) Department, Road Construction, Building Construction and Cabinet Secretariat and Monitoring Department with himself.
Apart from this, Radhakrishna Kishore has been allotted Finance, Commercial Tax, Planning and Development and Parliamentary Affairs Department. Deepak Birua has been given Revenue Registration and Land Reforms and Transport Department, while Chamra Linda will be the minister of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste and Welfare (except Minority Welfare) Department.
Sanjay Prasad Yadav has been given Labor, Planning, Training and Skills and Industry Department. Ramdas Soren has been made the minister of School Education and Literacy Department and Registration Department. Irfan Ansari has been given the responsibility of Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs and Disaster Management Department besides Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare. Hafizul Hasan has been allotted the Ministry of Water Resources and Minority Welfare.
At the same time, Deepika Pandey Singh has been made the Minister of Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj Department. Yogendra Prasad has been allotted the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation and Excise and Prohibition of Liquor. Sudivya Kumar has been given the responsibility of the Department of Urban Development and Housing, Higher and Technical Education, besides the Department of Tourism, Art-Culture and Youth Affairs.
Shilpi Neha Tirkey has been given the responsibility of the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperatives. Apart from these, the departments which have not been allotted to any minister will remain with the Chief Minister. The notification of division of departments has been issued with the signature of the Principal Secretary of the Government, Vandana Dadel.
