Hero files design patent for the Hero Xpulse 421design; To rival Royal Enfield Himalayan upon launch
Hero MotoCorp has filed the design patent for the Hero Xpulse 421 in India. With the introduction of the Xpulse 421, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer will be stepping in the under 450cc segment. Given the rise of buyers in the adventure 450cc segment in the country, Hero can hit a jackpot if it price of the Xpulse 421 is under Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hero Xpulse 421 will offer a 421cc single-cylinder engine that is liquid-cooled in nature. It will come with a six-speed gearbox and will get a long-travel USD front fork. The rear suspension on the motorcycle is mono-shock in nature. When it comes to the design of the motorcycle, we can see a taller frame which is a characteristic feature of adventure bike. The seat on the motor-cycle is single-piece in nature while the headlight unit is quite flat in design. There is also a presence of taller visor along with radiator shrouds. There are handlebar guards along with top-box rack and an underbelly pan.
When it comes to brakes, the Xpulse 421 will get a petal disc at the front and regular disc at the rear. When it comes to wheels, the front wheel is 21-inches while the rear is 18-inches. The motorcycle is expected to offer regular ADV features like upswept exhaust and a lot of newer features
Hero Xpulse 210
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the new Hero Xpulse 210 along with new Xtreme 250R and the Karizma 250 at the EICMA 2024. Speaking about the new Hero Xpulse 210, the motorcycle gets an upgrade in both mechanical and technical aspect.
When it comes to upgrade, the Hero Xpulse 210 gets a 210cc single cylinder engine with 4 valves that is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine produces maximum power of 24.6hp and peak torque of 20.7Nm. The engine that is present on the new Hero Xpulse 210 is the same as the Karizma XMR but it produces more power at 25.5hp.
