Bhilai. Major square-intersections of the city will now be monitored with hi-tech CCTV cameras. Hi-tech cameras will once again be installed at 126 places to keep an eye on the increasing accidents and other crimes. These cameras will be connected to the control room. That is, the whole city can be easily monitored from one place. Due to this, where the traffic jumpers will be caught, there will also be a reduction in the accident cases.

On the lines of smart cities in four cities of Chhattisgarh, Raipur, Durg Bhilai, Bilaspur and Korba, under the Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) of the Smart City Project, hi-tech cameras and signals will be installed at the square intersections of the city. Under the plan, the command and control center of ITMS will be set up in the Police Control Room located in Sector 6. After the start of ITMS, the residents of the city will get freedom from the traffic problem.

After the system starts, if someone breaks the traffic rule, then the challan will reach the mobile and address of the concerned. The entire city can be monitored from the control room through the cameras installed at the intersections. At the time of any disaster, the work of dealing with it can be done easily through the control room. Immediate help will be provided in case of an accident.
