High Court issues notice to BJP’s female MLA, know what is the matter

Jashpur. The High Court has sent a notice to Pathalgaon Assembly MLA Gomti Sai in connection with the election irregularities.

The petition of Rampukar Singh, the Congress candidate from this seat, was heard in the High Court on Wednesday. In the petition filed, irregularities in counting were alleged. On which today the court has issued notice to Gomti Sai.

Apart from Gomti Sai, notice has also been issued to 6 other candidates. Now the next hearing in this case is to be held on 28th February.

Let us tell you that Gomti Sai had contested the elections from Pathalgaon seat on BJP ticket against senior Congress MLA Rampukar Singh. In which he won by just 255 votes. This is the first assembly election that Gomti Sai has contested. She is a first time MP. She has also been the president of Jashpur District Panchayat.
