Himachal: No progress for Malana link road
Himachal Pradesh: For the last five months, the historic Malana village is facing problems due to lack of road facilities. Due to the disaster on July 31, the road connecting Jari was damaged at many places. Villagers have to travel about 10 km on foot to reach Jari. The elderly and patients are facing the most trouble due to this. Due to high transportation charges, villagers have to buy goods at expensive prices. About 150 vehicles are stranded and the livelihood of many people has been badly affected. There has been no hearing on repeated appeals to the government, administration and project management. The renovation of the road should be expedited.
The road leading to Nakthan village submerged in the dam of the hydroelectric project
The road leading to Nakthan village of Barshaini Panchayat has submerged in the dam of the hydroelectric project in Pulga. Due to this, the villagers are facing a lot of difficulties in commuting. Even after appealing to the project management several times, the problem has not been resolved. The administration and the government were also informed about this several times, but to no avail. The construction work of the project is almost complete and its barrage is being filled, due to which the road and various paths leading to the village are completely submerged. The project officials should construct a motorable road to connect the village as soon as possible.
