Himachal: Open Cross-Cantory Championship organized

Himachal Pradesh: District Hamirpur District Hamirpur Open Cross-Cantory Championship was held on a synthetic track yesterday. The district team was also selected during the event for the state-level cross-country championship to be held in Una on 15 December. District Association General Secretary Sandeep Dadwal said that the winner and first runner up will participate in every age group in the state-level championship. In the U-16 (women’s) category, Shagun won the 2-km race; In the U-18 category, Suhani finished first and Kashish finished second; In the U-20 category, Manisha was first and Ankita was second; And in an open race of 10 kilometers, Pareeksha was the only qualifier.
In the U-16 (men’s) category, Naresh Chauhan was first and Pranat was in second place; In the U-18 category, Atul placed first prize and Ayush in second place; In the U-20 category, Aditya finished first and silver finished second; While in the open category of 10-Mimi, Sanjeev topped the top position and Rohit won the second prize. The Sports Authority of India’s Sports Authority Kehar Singh Petal presented the award to the winners of the championship. He said that all the players should perform their best in the state sports and try to give a chance to participate in the national championship.
