Hiwa crushed the watchman sleeping in the cot, died on the spot

Janjgir-Champa. The highwa has crushed the watchman sleeping in the old brick kiln cot of Kotgarh village under Akaltara police station area of Janjgir-Champa. Watchman Vikas Bhardwaj has died in the incident. The Hiva driver has fled from the spot after the accident. As soon as the information is received, the police is engaged in the investigation of the case. It was told that the deceased youth was a resident of Podidalha.

According to the information received from the police, there is an old brick kiln in Kotgarh village, in which Vikas Bhardwaj used to work as a watchman and the work of removing debris from this brick kiln was being done, which was being supervised by Vikas Bhardwaj. In the night, Hiva had reached to collect the debris and Vikas Bhardwaj was sleeping on the cot, then the Hiva driver chased the vehicle and crushed Vikas Bhardwaj, who was sleeping on the cot. When people reached the spot in the morning, Vikas Bhardwaj was dead and the driver of the vehicle had fled from the spot. After the information of the incident, the police took action by conducting a panchnama and sent the dead body for postmortem. As of now, the accused Hiva driver has not been arrested.
