Kurud. Narcotic drugs have been seized from a car parked in the playground, four suppliers have been arrested. Kurud police received information through mobile from an informer that some people are illegally selling narcotic drugs in an Eco car no. CG 28 K 1666 in the playground Kurud, on this information, after preparing the Panchnama, we summoned the staff witnesses and along with them, cordoned off the area near the playground Kurud stage and arrested the accused Durgesh Chandrakar, Amit Kumar Yadav, Rakesh Markande, Bhuneshwar Prasad Sahu, and on searching all the four and the Eco car no. CG 28 K 1666, ALRIF-0.5 NR Alprazolam Tablets I.P. A total of 293 strips of 0.5 MG tablet, each strip containing 10 tablets, total 2930 tablets (total weight 1.465 gm) worth Rs. 7087.67 and sales amount of Rs. 14170/- and Eco car no. CG 28-K-1666 worth Rs. 2,50,000/-, total Rs. 2,71,257/-, were seized on the spot in front of witnesses and after taking due action, the tablets were sealed.
