Hospital Chowk to Srimandira to become ‘No Vehicle Zone’ on Kartika Purnima, know details

Puri: Keeping in view the huge crowd expected on Kartika Purnima in the holy city of Puri ample arrangement has been made to check traffic congestion and for smooth darshan of the deities by the devotees. Accordingly, from hospital chowk to Srimandira will turn ‘No Vehicle Zone’ on Kartika Purnima tomorrow.

As per reports, big preparations has been made in Puri of Odisha keeping in view the huge footfall of devotees on Kartika Purnami tomorrow.

Barricade has been erected from the Market chhaka keeping in view orderly darshan.

To float the miniature boats on Kartika Purnima and to take a holy dip ample life guard arrangement has been made in the sea beach of Puri. Puri District Collector Siddharth Shankar briefed about this on Thursday.

There will be ‘no vehicle zone’ beyond hospital chhak towards Srimandira. At the barricade arrangements have been made for the seating of the devotees, drinking water and shed.

In addition, the devotees will be informed about the rituals of the deities from time to time.
