Hotel operator commits suicide by jumping in front of a train

Jind. A case of a hotel operator allegedly committing suicide by jumping in front of a train near Julani railway gate in the district has come to light. Police spokesperson said that the deceased has left a suicide note in which he has held a woman and her sister responsible for this step.
Police said that the youth committed suicide by jumping in front of a train going from Jind to Kurukshetra on Tuesday near Julani village railway gate. He said that the deceased has been identified as Vinod, 24, resident of Kairkhedi village. Vinod used to run a hotel on Narwana Road in collaboration with a person named Sahil of Kairkhedi village.

According to the police, the deceased had an alleged love affair with a woman and he was upset as both of them did not talk for a few days. The woman’s phone number and address are also recorded in the suicide note.

He said that the Government Railway Police is investigating the matter. Investigating officer of Railway Station Vinod said that the matter is being investigated.
