Hotel owner attacked over quantity of chicken curry served
Thiruvananthapuram: A hotel owner was attacked for serving chicken curry in small quantities. The incident occurred at 1:30 am on Monday in Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram. Naushad (46), resident of Varkala Reghunathapuram, suffered head injuries.
Naushad was attacked at his hotel for serving chicken curry in small quantities when a group had come to eat. It is hinted that the residents of Varkala Thannimudu are behind this act. Naushad got treatment at a private hospital in Varkala.
The police had confiscated the two-wheelers of the attackers. Police said that the search for the accused has been intensified.
It is reported that a few weeks ago a young man had attacked the hotel owner and his family in Adimali. A young man who had come to have dinner at a hotel in Kambilikandam is behind the attack. Police said that when the owner asked for money for the food eaten the previous day, he attacked him. They were attacked with iron rods and knives. Kalekkal Rahul Raj (36), owner of Ruchi Hotel in Nedumkandam Manjapara, his father Rajan Pillai (66) and Rahul’s father-in-law Ravi (56) were injured.
