Housing Board houses will have digital door numbers, fire brigade, ambulance and other facilities will reach directly to the door
Rajasthan Housing Board, in collaboration with IndusInd Bank, has started installation of Digital Door Numbers (DDN) in 500 flats under Pratap Nagar-based Mukhyamantri Shikshak Evam Prahari Awasiya Yojana as a pilot project. After joining the QR code and unique number based service, not only will it be easy to find housing or flats in residential schemes, but facilities like fire brigade, ambulance will also be easily accessible directly at the doorstep.
Mr. Ankit Pareek (Government Banking Group), Country Head of IndusInd Bank and Mr. Ejaz Adil handed over the QR code sample to the Housing Commissioner Mr. Pawan Arora in a meeting held on Tuesday at the Housing Board’s headquarters, Awas Bhavan.
Mr. Pawan Arora told that after installation of digital door number or QR code, the residents will not face any problem in finding their houses. As soon as the QR code received in the form of address is scanned with the mobile phone, with the help of Google Map, the location of the house, its picture, everything will be found. As a pilot project, it is being started in the Teacher and Sentinel Scheme. If the experiment is successful, other schemes will also be connected with this state-of-the-art facility.
During this, representatives from IndusInd Bank gave a detailed presentation about digital door numbers based on QR code technology. He told that in the coming days door step service, emergency service like fire brigade, police, car management system and other necessary facilities will also be added to this facility. He told that if the Municipal Corporation participates in this scheme in future, then tax collection, notice etc. of the corporation can also be distributed through it. Not only this, the common man will also get benefit from this facility in door step delivery and online shopping.
Divisional Secretary Mrs. Alpa Chowdhary, Financial Advisor Mrs. Sanjay Sharma, Chief Engineer Mr. Manoj Gupta, Additional Chief Engineer Mr. Amit Agarwal and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
