Housing construction is going on at a rapid pace under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.

Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, in his very first cabinet under Modi’s guarantee, has approved the construction of 18 lakh houses in the state. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, under the scheme, housing construction work is being done at a rapid pace in the entire state. In Jashpur, the home district of the Chief Minister himself, construction works of 5 thousand 611 houses have been completed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin in the last three months. A total of 61 thousand 784 houses have been approved in all the districts of Jashpur district from the year 2016 to 2023. In these, 53 thousand 121 houses have been completed so far and the remaining houses are also being monitored continuously under the continuous monitoring of the officials working at the district and gram panchayat level by coordinating with the beneficiaries of the houses under construction. The beneficiaries are receiving the installment amount on time from the state government. Due to which it is becoming easier for the beneficiaries to complete all the in-progress houses within the stipulated time.
