Bhai, take the plate first on the day of Bija. Use a new plate if possible. After this purify it with Ganga water. – Now decorate it by adding galgota or any other flower to it. Then place Roli, Kumkum, Akshat, Kalav, dry coconut, sweets etc. one by one in a small bowl or plate. Light a ghee lamp with this.

Sisters should not make these mistakes while marrying brothers

It is considered auspicious to apply Tilak to your brother without eating anything on the day of Bhai Bija. Take care of Rahukaal on this day. Applying Tilak during Rahukaal is considered inauspicious. While doing Tilak, do not make your brother sit on the ground but make him sit on a chair, stool etc. and tie a handkerchief or some cloth on his head. On the day of Bhai Bija, sister or brother should not wear black clothes at all. Do not fight among yourselves on this day.
